“James Bickley Running Ltd has supported Bentley Court Care Home for 9 years delivering well-being and meaningful sessions to our service users.
The sessions are fun, stimulating, empowering, and engaging for our service users.

What I really enjoy about these sessions is the respect and dignity shown by James to the service users. James has great interaction and has considerable patience when delivering person centred activities to each one of the service users.

One of the most special things about James is the significant way he ensures he memorises their names the moment he meets them and NEVER forgets on their next encounter. He is a gentleman, self-assured, great instructor and has a great rapport with all staff.

What James offers is integral to the well-being of our service users, the joy and life he brings to them whilst they are keeping fit is priceless when you see the smiles on their faces.

I would like to say a great BIG THANK YOU James for all your hard work and we do appreciate the great work you have provided over the last 9 years”

“James has been visiting our Nursing home every week for the past 9 years, in those nine years he has never been late to his class and always early to help set the class up. He’s made some lovely friendships with the residents, taking time to talk with each resident before the class. James has a fun and bubbly personality that is infectious and the residents respond well to him he even manages to get quieter residents to join in. The classes really help to keep our residents active. All residents, relatives and staff look forward to his visits as it is a real social event within the home. James is a big part of our community in our nursing home”

“James has been providing exercise to our residents who live with a range of disabilities for around 6 years now. James provides fun and energetic classes and engages with the residents in a fantastic, kind, caring and fun approach. This helps to get more residents attending, maybe just for his wit and humour but they do end up enjoying his classes and return to each one after”
